He and Cortright coauthored 鈥淭he Sanctions Decade鈥� and 鈥淪anctions and the Search for Security鈥� and co-edited 鈥淪mart Sanctions,鈥� three books that have had a substantial impact on UN discussions of sanctions reform. Lopez also is the current chair of the board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, the organization that regulates the 鈥淒oomsday Clock.鈥漰.
