The spirited music and dance ofBrazilwill come to the University of Notre Dame when the Kellogg Institute for International 91视频 presents its ninth annual Carnaval celebration Feb. 9 (Friday) at8 p.m.in Notre Dame鈥檚 South Dining Hall.The event is free and open to the public.
This years Carnaval, a Brazilian celebration of Mardi Gras, will feature professional Brazilian dancers performing and teaching dance steps, as well as the samba and ax茅 music of , which features Brazilian musicians who have performed together for more than eight years. The band is under the direction of Moacyr Marchini, who has been playing in theChicagoarea for more than 16 years.
